Soul Space Presents: Rhyme, Rhythm, and Restoration

Join us for an intimate evening of poetry music and honest conversation on Friday June 27th as author poet and educator J.R. Rice hosts Soul Space Presents Rhyme Rhythm and Restoration an open mic where every voice is welcome and every story valued.

Be moved by the raw brilliance of Slam Champion and author Protected Poet and transported by the soulful melodies of pianist and vocalist August Stevens.

In honor of Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month the night culminates in a powerful panel discussion exploring the transformative role of creativity in mental wellness.

1. If you are a poet singer rapper or storyteller here's your chance to share your voice and narratives.
2. Performers are limited to 1-2 pieces (6 mins MAX) and are encouraged to share stories connected to mental health and creativity.
3. Sorry no music backing tracks. Only accostic.
4. Preregistration is encouraged and earns priority over walk-in sign-ups.
