The City of Beloit and Beloit Janesville Symphony Orchestra, under the direction of guest conductor Dr. Chris Ramaekers, are gearing up for Pops on the Rock, the annual patriotic concert and fireworks show, that is held at Riverside Park on Independence Day.
The BJSO concert will start at 7:15 pm Friday, July 4, 2025, with the fireworks starting at dusk. The concert will be held at the Harry Moore Pavilion, 1160 Riverside Drive, in the park.
New Viewing Spot This Year
The School District of Beloit is generously opening the Beloit Memorial High School football stadium for an additional viewing location. Bring your own blanket, chairs and snacks and enjoy the show. Food trucks will be available near the stadium. Please, no alcohol or fireworks. Doors to the stadium open at 8pm; seating is on the field and the bleachers will be closed.
Prohibited items include:
• Weapons
• Glass Bottles
• Alcohol
• Smoking & Vaping
• Fireworks
• Speakers/Sound Systems
• Pets (W/ Exception For Service Animals)
• Open Flames (Grills, Fire Pits)
Parking
Plan ahead and get there early! Parking lots at Riverside Park and some ABC Supply lots will be closed for the event. Accessible parking will be available at the Rotary River Center parking lot. Riverside Drive will close to through traffic at 8:45 pm.
We recommend the general public use the following lots:
• Jones Pavilion in Riverside Park, entrance off of Portland Avenue.
• Beloit Public Library, 605 Eclipse Blvd.
• Beloit Memorial High School main lot, 1225 Fourth St.
Additional downtown Beloit parking spots can be located at www.beloitwi.gov/parking. While the spots are further away, many are within walking distance of Riverside Park.
Additionally, Prince Hall Drive will be open to one-way traffic only.

BJSO has graciously receive a grant from the Stateline Community Foundation to present the 4th of July concert to the Beloit community.
