This free, family-friendly event marks the start of Beaumont’s summer concert series and will feature live performances by local favorites Memory 2 and Sancho Baker, along with a variety of delicious food trucks.
The Summer Sundown Concert will take place immediately following the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the grand reopening of Riverfront Park, a cherished community space that has undergone extensive renovations after the impact of Hurricane Harvey.
Located along the scenic Neches River, Riverfront Park has long been a hub for community gatherings, cultural events, and outdoor recreation. The reopening marks a significant milestone in Beaumont’s ongoing recovery and resilience, showcasing new amenities, improved infrastructure, and enhanced green spaces designed to better withstand future weather events.
To kick off this momentous occasion, attendees will be treated to live jazz tunes from the Andre Harness Quartet, adding a festive and soulful atmosphere to the evening’s festivities.
