The Greatest Baltimore Baseball pitcher ever hosts The August edition of Meet The Birds! We're thrilled to welcome the legendary Jim Palmer to Jimmy's for what promises to be an unforgettable evening!
Jim will be joined on stage by Eric Arditti of Barstool Sports, who will lead The Q&A portion of the program before opening it up to fans!
"Cakes" was a legendary pitcher, a Hall of Famer known for his smooth delivery and high-kick. He had a stellar career, winning 268 games with a 2.86 ERA and leading the American League in wins, ERA, and innings pitched multiple times. Palmer's career was marked by a remarkable ability to avoid grand slams and back-to-back home runs, and he was a key figure in Baltimore's success, winning three World Series titles.
Following the Q&A, each guest will receive an autograph (one item per person) and photo with Jim! We’ll have a professional photographer on site – but you’re welcome to snap cell phone photos as well! Proceeds from this event will benefit Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, in memory of Mo Gaba. The mission of Johns Hopkins Children’s Center is to provide patient- and family-centered care in a diverse and inclusive environment, be a leader in innovative research leading to the prevention and effective treatment of childhood diseases, and train the next generation of leaders in pediatric medicine.
There are three ticket tiers…
General Admission – includes admission to the event, Q&A, photo, and autograph!
VIP – includes all GA perks, in addition to a commemorative t-shirt and priority seating!
