Bainbridge Open Mic Poetry at the Library

Poetry reading by Julia B. Levine followed by open mic.
We’re excited to offer Open Mic for poets of all experience levels to read their work to an appreciative audience.

Open to the public, and everyone is welcome (Ages 14 and up.) No need to register in advance. Signup for the open mic will start at 6:45 pm. Poets will be asked to keep their readings to three minutes or less. Emceed by Bainbridge Island Poet Laureate Michele Bombardier. Refreshments provided!

Featured Reader: Julia B. Levine is the author of six collections of poetry, including Small Disasters Seen in Sunlight, (LSU, 2014), winner of the 2015 Northern California Book Award. Her most recent, Lullaby for the Sixth Extinction, winner of the Wolfson Press Award, will be available in Fall 2025.
