We invite you to a full moon hike with ๐ stargazing at Zaarour hills & lakes this Saturday 09th of August.
We will spend the evening there, enjoy a clear sky full of stars and end the night by a cozy gathering around the ๐ฅ bonfire. Itโs wonderful. Return to Beirut around 11.45 PM

๐ DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

The ๐ซ amazing scenery that your eyes catch upon reaching these amazing landscapes is indescribable.
Zaarour will be the perfect place for night hike, will be a moderate, will walk along the upper part of the west mountain; will have enough time for fun, photo shooting, and rest.
The origin of the name Zaarour is Syriac and means its Powerful Symbolism, Destiny, and Luck.
The 19th-century French poet, novelist, and statesman Alphonse De Lamartine visited Lebanon and spent some time in Hammana. He described the town and its surrounding valley and mountains as "one of the most beautiful prospects ever presented to the human eye to scan in the works of God".
The hike will take place near the amazing ๐ง lakes. We will have many reasons to keep our cameras handy, there will be ๐ญ scenes to cherish forever.
๐ฟ๐ฅพ HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous

Level 4 +(3.0 Hours approx.) is an easy and pleasing trail.
Our trail will ๐ถ start from Marj El Bakra, passes between the very known water ponds, and ascend to the top of a hill โฐto see a panoramic view. We continue our hike passing by an old village and leading to the most ๐ท picturesque spot. There we will enjoy the fresh air and ๐ญ watch the beautiful summer ๐
sunset and enjoy Lebanon in its twilight colors. The stunning mountainous landscape, with the highest Cross, is impressive, will enjoy at night a clear sky full of stars there.

Level 3 (2.3 Hours approx.) same as level 4 but more short and is an easy pleasing trail too.
After finishing the trail, we will gather near a bonfire at Zaarour village and we will have the opportunity to take ๐ซ boiling tea and test roasted potatoes cooked by local villagers.
That night hike is not to be missed. It will imprint unforgettable memories of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Healthy snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruit, a flashlight, water, a cap, and sunglasses. Wear comfortable walking shoes (A professional brand is recommended) and don't forget to get a flashlight and a light jacket since it gets cold at night.
