Falougha is known for its green โฐhills, numerous water ๐ง ponds, and the two rivers that intersect it.
We invite you to a full moon hike with ๐ stargazing at Falougha lakes this Sunday 10th of August. Itโs wonderful!!!
We will spend the evening there, enjoy a clear sky full of stars and end the night by a cozy gathering around the ๐ฅ campfire. Return to Beirut around 11.45 PM

๐ DESCRIPTION OF THE EVENT:

Definitely, a ๐
sunset and ๐ night hike in Falougha is an option to spend summer evenings. The origin of the name Falougha is Syriac and means "divide" symbolizing the two winter rivers that divide the village.
The 19th-century French poet, novelist, and statesman Alphonse De Lamartine visited ๐ฑ๐ง Lebanon and spent some time in Hammana. He described the town and its surrounding valley as "one of the most beautiful prospects ever presented to the human eye to scan in the works of God".
The hike will take place near the ๐ซ amazing lakes. We will have many reasons to keep our ๐ท cameras handy, there with the full moon will be scenes to cherish forever.
๐ฟ๐ฅพ HIKING LEVEL. 1 to 3 for easy, 4 to 6 for intermediate, 7 to 9 for strenuous

Level 4 (around 7.5 KM - 3.0 Hours approx.) is an easy and pleasing trail.
Our ๐ถ trail will start from the pine forest of Falougha, passes between the very known ๐ง water ponds, and descend from theโฐ top of a hill to ๐ญ see a panoramic view. We continue our hike passing by Sohat spring water bottling plant to visit the first ๐ฑ๐ง Lebanese Flag That was raised in 1943. We will hike through a ๐ฒ Cedar Forest leading to the most picturesque spot at Lamartine Rock where the famous French poet, Lamartine, used to sit and get inspired. There we will enjoy the fresh air and ๐ญ watch the beautiful ๐
summer sunset and enjoy Lebanon in its twilight colors. Discover nature by night. It is an experience not to be missed โDale Faloughaโ!!!
After finishing the trail, we will gather near a ๐ฅ bonfire at Falougha village and we will have the opportunity to take a ๐ซ boiling tea and test ๐ฅ roasted potatoes cooked by local villagers.
This ๐ Full Moon hike is not to be missed. It will imprint unforgettable memories of a once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Healthy snacks that will boost up your energy such as dried fruit, a flashlight, water, a cap, and sunglasses. Wear comfortable walking shoes (A professional brand is recommended) and don't forget to get a flashlight and a light jacket since it gets cold at night.
