Supporting your Child following a Separation or Divorce-workshop for parents, caregivers and whānau

This programme will assist parents/caregivers to understand the experience of family separation or divorce from a child’s perspective and to learn about the most effective ways to support their child/children.

During this programme, parents and caregivers will:
Learn about how children react to change and loss
Learn what parents/caregivers can do to help their child/children
Learn useful ways to communicate with their child/children
Learn the Seasons for Growth™ approach to understanding and managing change, loss and grief
Learn about caring for themselves as a parent/caregiver and as a person

Dates: Tuesday 22nd and 29th July (two session programme)
Time: 10.30am - 12.30pm
Venue: Tararua Community Service, Ward Street, Dannevirke
