Each week is themed fabulous and full of juicy tips from seasoned performers. A graduation showcase will be held September 28th with Sunday Night Burlesque for students that are wanting to hit the stage! Week one: August 7th  BurlyQ Act Development (6:15p - 7:15p)What’s your storyline? Learn how to shape a solo from sparkly concept to stage-ready tease. We'll cover character work structure prop use and costuming basics. Your act your fantasy let’s build it. Led by Two Scoops! (Lucy la Peche & Selma Sapphire) Burlesque Iconic Moves for your glittery toolkit! (7:15p - 8:15p)This course is all about embodying the essence of burlesque through movement. No props no costumes just your body telling a story with every sultry strut and smoldering stare. You'll learn classic body positioning techniques movement and burlesque terminology. Led by Muff Jones!Week two: August 14th Victory rolls & va-va-volume! (6:15p - 7:15p)Grab your curling irons and setting spray we're channeling golden-age glamour for vintage hairstyles for the stage. Learn quick backstage styles wig tricks and iconic pin-up looks that say “Yes I'm that fabulous.” Led by Kay Chula! Musicality - Feel the beat flaunt the heat. (7:15p - 8:15p)Learn how to let the music guide your movement. This week focuses on rhythm pacing timing and how to make every beat (and beat drop) count. We'll also experiment with genre and mood to match your act's energy. Led by Papi Cock! Week three: August 21st Tassel Twirling (6:15p - 7:15p)Find your twirl mojo! We’ll cover chest and booty twirling technique (yes it’s a real skill) confidence tips and what to do when those tassels just won't behave. Pasties available to borrow or bring your own. Led by Vera Holiday! Hide A Cheek - Business in the front rhinestones in the back. (7:15p - 8:15p)This course we’re getting hands on literally! Learn how to design decorate and bedazzle your own burlesque bra and panties with show-stopping flair. Whether you’re going for glamorous cheeky or downright scandalous we got you covered! Led by Hellen Dee Bedd! Week four: August 28th The Art of the Tease (6:15p - 7:15p)Uncover the flirty fundamentals of burlesque! Learn what makes burlesque burlesque! Build presence command attention and practice the fine art of keeping 'em guessing. Eye contact peel reveals and the glorious pause? Oh yes. Led by Muff Jones! Drag it up diva it out! Makeup for the Stage (7:15p - 8:15p)Turn up the glamour! Learn how to create bold camera-ready looks that can withstand sweat spotlights and standing ovations. From lashes to liner glitter to glue you'll get the tools and techniques to beat that face.
