Compassion and the arts have helped people survive and thrive across time and culture. Laura Banks leads a writing practice and conversation that blends the science and art of compassion.

Laura Banks is a compassion educator and consultant exploring the connection between the science of compassion, the arts, and what it means to be human. She is dual-certified by the Center for Compassion and Altruism Research and Education (CCARE) at Stanford University and Compassion Institute as a Compassion Cultivation Training © (CCT™) Instructor.
