About Mike:
Mike Frazier hails from the Shenandoah Valley in Virginia but relocated to Seattle, Washington in 2022. Frazier spent the last decade touring relentlessly, and releasing half a dozen records. Since his move to Seattle he has continued to tour around the United States. Frazier is carrying on the tradition of record craft with a focus on authentic songwriting and high quality production. Frazier draws inspiration from the valley he grew up in, his travels around the world, protest movements, and the classic folk music storytelling he is so deeply inspired by. In 2024 Frazier suffered a health crisis days before his 6th album, Secrets Of Atlantis, was released into the world. He had been privately dealing with a mental and physical health battle for two years that finally came to a head when he went unconscious at lunch with his family doctor’s son in Virginia. The day after Frazier had an MRI and was admitted to the hospital where he was diagnosed with Temporal Lobe Epilepsy. Less than a week later, Frazier underwent a right temporal craniotomy to remove a lesion that had been causing him to have focal onset seizures. The lesion was sent to pathology and confirmed to be Focal Cortical Dysplasia which is a congenital defect Frazier had been born with. Frazier wrote and recorded many songs during his recovery process and is set to release his 7th album April Days a year to the day he had brain surgery on 4/25/25.
About Ruby:
Ruby Ruth George is a soulful singer-songwriter whose music blends elements of country, folk, jazz, blues, and gospel into heartfelt songs rooted in lived experience. Born and raised on the Redwood Coast of California, Ruby's love of music began early—singing in a Gospel Choir at age four and soloing by seven. Their passion for performance, storytelling, and instrumentation grew from there, shaped by hours spent learning trumpet, saxophone, violin, and guitar, and studying vocalists from Ella Fitzgerald to Gillian Welch.
Ruby’s songwriting took flight after moving to Portland, Oregon as a teen, where guitar became the vehicle for the melodies constantly playing in their head. Drawing inspiration from a wide array of artists from Emmylou Harris to Nirvana. Ruby cultivated a sound uniquely their own, marked by raw vulnerability, sharp wit, and soulful resilience.
Their journey has taken them across the country; from collegiate A Cappella in Oregon to Equestrian Studies in Missouri. From a barn in Kentucky to a ranch in California; all of which have colored their music with depth and authenticity. In 2017, they released their debut album Life Worth Living under the name Georgia Ruth, a collection of songs chronicling love, heartbreak, and self-discovery.
Now based in Northern California, Ruby continues to write and perform music that reflects their experience as a disabled queer person, weaving personal truth into songs that connect with audiences through empathy, humor, and a deep joy of life.
