About the event

Traditional Cherokee Weapons Demonstration

Join Seasonal Interpretive Ranger Aubrey for an interactive demonstration of Cherokee weaponry prior to European contact. The demonstration will be about 45 minutes to 1 hour and involves a lecture portion and a demonstration portion.

Participants will be shown an atlatl, a Cherokee warclub, a Cherokee blowgun, and a replica flint-lock rifle.

The program will be held near the Visitor Center porch.
