- **Event Name**: Council of Trees Trail Guided Hike
- **Event Start and End Date**: Sun, 22 Jun, 2025 at 10:00 am – Sun, 22 Jun, 2025 at 12:00 pm
- **Event Description**: Join SIR Aubrey for a 1.5 mile hike along the Council of Trees Trail! SIR Aubrey will be sharing the history of Red Clay and pointing out interesting plants along the way.

The trail is largely shaded, and there is some uneven footing (gravel) and moderate hills that will need to be traversed to complete the hike. The hike will take approximately 2 hours with benches available along the way for breaks.

We recommend wearing close-toed shoes and bringing water with you. Participants are also welcome to bring a snack to eat during a break at the overlook tower.

Participants will meet SIR Aubrey at the picnic pavilion, which can be found by following the paved road straight up the hill, rather than turning left into the Visitor Center parking lot.
