About this Event

The word "Solstice" comes from the Latin words "Sol" which means Sun and "stitium" which means still or stopped. Ancient cultures around the world have always honored the sun and the blessings it brings to us as individuals and as a community. The Summer Solstice marks the start of a new cycle, the season of Summer, our time to shine and unfold our true potential. The Sun's peak power on this day is a symbol of Abundance, Warmth, and Enlightenment. This Solstice encourages us to shift from the inward focus of winter towards outward action and manifestation. This is a celebration that reminds us that everything is cyclical, it encourages us to appreciate the balance within and outside of us. Let's celebrate the present moment, recognizing that everything is in a constant state of flux therefore no need to control anything as we are carried away by the natural rhythm of life.
