Education Series: Responding to Behaviors

Behavior is a powerful form of communication and is one of the ways that people with dementia express their needs and feelings. However, some dementia-related expressions can be challenging to manage. Join us and learn response strategies to some of the most common behavioral challenges of Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias.

Hannah is the Assistant Executive Director at Rock Creek Senior Living. She is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. She has worked in senior care for over 10 years and has her Master's in Gerontology. She has experience working across all levels of care (skilled, short-term rehab, independent, and assisted living), but her heart is with memory care. She is passionate about helping individuals and families throughout their journey with dementia.
