Andover Gerbil Show

Our next show is at a new location and venue. The Southern Hamster Club have kindly invited us to share the venue with them and our show will run alongside theirs.

There is plenty of parking on site, a cafe and the Fairground also has hobby shops on site.

The venue is readily accessible by car, however satnavs will take you to the back of the site which is not an entrance for cars. If you are on the A342, when the satnav tells you to turn right at the church, just ignore it, keep going on the same road to the mini roundabout and then turn right and follow the road around to the main entrance.

If using public transport, Bus No. 8 runs regular services from Andover Bus Station and Andover Railway Station, stopping right outside the Craft Centre at The Fairground bus stop. If using a taxi, it is approximately 10 mins from the station.

Our judge will be Sue Green, gerbils are to be present by 10:30 am and judging will commence at 11 am.

Entries cost £1 per exhibit and there will be plenty of rosettes for the winners, including other species of gerbils and jirds. Special prizes for NGS members as well as rosettes for pet gerbils/rescues, who are also most welcome.
