Alton, get ready! The F1 Powerboat Championship is making waves once again as the 2nd Annual Alton Midwest Nationals returns to Riverfront Park! Experience the thrill of high-speed racing as some of the best powerboat racers in North America battle it out on the Mississippi River.
Alton’s rich powerboat racing history dates back to 1894, and now, you can be part of the next chapter in July 2025! This action-packed weekend features Event Highlights:
• Heart-pounding F1 powerboat races on the Mississippi River
• Vendor displays, music, and food for all to enjoy
• General admission viewing, plus an exclusive VIP Experience
• Kickoff Meet & Greet Street Party – Meet the drivers and see the boats up close on Friday night
Schedule:
• Thursday, July 17 – Teams set up pit areas
• Friday, July 18 – Testing begins at 2:00 PM, followed by the • Kickoff Street Party
• Saturday & Sunday, July 19-20 – Non-stop racing action all weekend long
