Enchanted Forest: A Mystical PRIDE Prom

Safe Space NOVA is proud to present the annual regional PRIDE PROM for LGBTQIA+ high school students all around the DMV!

The City of Alexandria Office of the Arts is proud to host this annual epic event! Join hundreds of queer and trans teens as their very presence, visibility, and PRIDE is an act of resistance perfection.

The Safe Space NOVA Pride Prom Ambassadors are excited to enchant you with two levels of:

- CELEBRATION - Pride Prom is a night to remember in a year many wish to forget

- EDUCATION - Meet and greet with nonprofit affirming organizations who support LGBTQIA+ youth year round

- ACTION - Not only do our student leaders work for change in their schools and our community, artists at The Torpedo Factory Art Station set up Art Installations for you, creating works of artistic resistance

- COMPASSION - Because we know that even the best of nights in a safe and validating space can evoke strong feelings, we have crisis counselors on hand to listen...and a quiet room filled with books, board games, and sensory toys so that everyone is not only welcome but included while remaining as seen or unseen as they choose to be.
