We’re bringing flavor, community, and love together this Tuesday, June 3rd at 5 PM in Albany, NY — and we’re so proud to introduce you to the heart behind the creations: Chef Asher Renatus 💜
“My name means a beautiful life reborn — and that couldn’t be more true for me,” shares Asher, a 36-year-old trans man who’s called Albany home for the past 15 years. Growing up just outside the city in Voorheesville, Asher found his passion in the kitchen early and has been a chef for 18 years.
🍳 “I absolutely love what I do. Cooking brings people together — and that’s what Pride is all about.”
This year, Chef Asher has created three incredible cocktails turned into boozy popsicles you can enjoy all Pride Month long. We’re launching them Tuesday night, with a portion of our dinner proceeds going to In Our Own Voices, a powerful org supporting LGBTQ+ people of color.
Asher is deeply passionate about human rights and anti-bullying, and we're honored to share space with him and with YOU.
