Eine iranische Filmemacherin der neuen Generation: Maryam Tafakory (*1987) dekonstruiert das von Zensur geprägte zeitgenössische iranische Kino mit komplexen visuellen Collagen, schafft Handlungsfähigkeit, Intimität und Widerstand. Irani Bag (2020) zeigt, wie raffiniert das postrevolutionäre Kino innerhalb restriktiver Codes eine Poetik des Ungesagten entwickelte. Razeh-del (2024) erzählt die Geschichte der Frauenzeitung Zan, die 1998 gegründet und ein Jahr später bereits wieder verboten wurde.
