Gear Lords 41: Live Production Electronic Music

Gear Lords 41 is at Ziggys downtown Ypsilanti on Wednesday Dec 10th. GearLords is an all live set, hardware electronic music showcase of local and regional musicians. Its not just a good place to hear electronic music (ranging from ambient, to techno of all sorts, to electro and house and even hip hop beats). The musicians here play on beat machines, synths of all sorts, DIY stuff, sampler machines, etc. Pretty rare for computers to be used - its primarily a DAWless jamming session. But not only is it a good place to catch tunes but also learn about equipment, other hardware shows, and resources for hardware musicians, and overall what is going on in the underground electronic music scene of Washtenaw County.

Each show has a handful of performances. This one is especially good.
