Join us for an afternoon of shared food, stories, and community! Whether you've attended a Death Cafe, Last Chapter Collective, work in deathcare, or are simply community-minded and curious - you're welcome here! 🌿🌿
What to Bring:
A dish that feels meaningful to you. A favorite comfort food, a recipe with a story, or something you just love to share. (We’ll have notecards available if you’d like to write up the recipe or a memory connected to the dish!)
We’ll provide a variety of non-alcoholic drinks, but feel free to bring your favorite if you have a special preference.
What to Expect:
Block Printing Station w/Corinne Denomme - Bring a piece of clothing, a tote bag, or a scrap of fabric you love, and make something beautiful with us. We’ll have assorted stamps and inks to play with! (Some blank items will be available for purchase too.)
Kid & Pet Friendly - Please keep dogs leashed and be mindful of everyone's comfort. Kids are encouraged to join and play, we’re dreaming up a few fun activities for them (and for the adults too).
Dish to Pass - Honor a loved one by recreating one of their recipes, or simply bring something you love. This is a chance to nourish each other and share the stories behind our favorite foods.
Community Connection - Unlike our more structured gatherings, this is a chance to connect more freely. Come chat, reflect, and build relationships with others who care deeply about life, death, and everything in between.
Other Activities - We’re cooking up a few ideas for group games or creative prompts and we’d love to hear your suggestions, too!
Timing:
We’ll get started around 1:00 PM, but feel free to arrive when you can. We’ll wind things down organically - probably around 4:00 PM.
We're excited to spend the afternoon with you!
