Pack Walks on the 5 Star walking trail off of depot Street in Youngwood.
These pack walks will be 30 minutes long, and $15 per dog.
Purpose of Pack walk:
The number one purpose of the pack, Walk is exercise for both the human and dog alike.
Members of the AKC dog program will receive their proper points and credit for each pack walk they complete will be recorded by a certified AKC fit Dog Trainer.
Socialization- these pack walks are designed for very friendly very well socialized dogs that want to go out and enjoy exercise with their humans while enjoying the company of other friendly like-minded dogs.

Ensuring a Safe & Satisfying Group Dog Walk
You won’t be able to reap the benefits of walking your dog without also making sure it’s a safe and happy experience for all involved. Keep these guidelines in mind when on a pack walk:
Always clean up after your dog.
Keep walks shorter in extreme heat or cold.
Bring fresh water for both of you to drink.
Supervise your dog around young children and other dogs (even if the dogs are ones you walk with daily).
Aim for five walks a week for about 30 minutes (or, as per the AKC Fit Dog guidelines, two 15-minute walks for senior dogs).
Trainers will offer advice on proper leash handling as well as how to properly use engagement training with your dogs while walking.
Requirements :
All dogs must be friendly and well socialized around humans and other dogs to join the pack walks
All dogs must have their licenses, rabies vaccination, and up-to-date on their Bordetella.
All humans please bring your own dog, water, bowls, and treats if necessary, as well as poop bags to clean up after your dogs.
We will be using the second walking trail that goes back behind the community college for this pack walk.
