Caroline Hammond
Caroline Hammond is a multi-instrumentalist, singer, songwriter and story-teller. Her songs play with the tapestry of life, spinning joyous music from the grace and beauty of the overlooked, the everyday and the commonplace.
In the wonderful, musical company of Brendan St Ledger on keys and Craig Claxton on guitar, they'll introduce you to a new album of original songs from the forthcoming album 'Hungerford Lane' now in the studio. Sit back and enjoy music for the feet and the soul!
Jumping Fences
Jumping Fences’ songs traverse working lives, migration and exile, and everyday hopes and joys. Their long association with Latin American music resonates deeply in their own compositions. They toured to Cuba in 2017 and 2018, and nationally they have performed at numerous festivals and venues in South-East Queensland and Victoria. They have composed songs for choirs and conducted workplace song writing and performance projects in association with the Qld Council of Unions. Jumping Fences have released six recordings, most recently ‘Woolloongabba’. You can listen to a selection of songs on Spotify, YouTube or Apple Music.
