Come along and learn how to decorate a beautiful and professional-looking HEART CAKE this Mother's Day 💜🩷 This experience will be the perfect way to spend the morning with your mum, gran, daughter, or just yourself, if you/they love being creative. Then you'll get to go home and enjoy eating it with the rest of your family (feeds about 10-15).
At this workshop you will learn how to layer the cake, decorate it will popular buttercream piping techniques, top it with yummy decorations, and many cake decorating tricks and tips!
Please note that this is a BEGINNER class, suitable for those who have never done any cake decorating previously or only dabbled a little bit, or haven't done this style of cake before (not suitable for advanced decorators - unless you just love hanging out with me ;-) ).
Inclusions:
- Mother's Day sugar cookie (contains GLUTEN) and hot drink on arrival
- Use of my cake decorating equipment
- Cake board and box
- Small home-made heart mud cake (GF option available)
- Buttercream and ganache to decorate, as well as my buttercream and chocolate ganache recipes to take home
- Edible decorations
What to bring:
- Apron (I have some for sale if you don't own one or forget to bring one)
- Covered shoes
- Hair tie/clips to keep hair back (long hair in a bun)
- Dark clothing and a Cardigan for the Air-con
- Water bottle
GENERIC CAKE TOPPERS and CANDLES are also available to purchase if required. If you would like the DECORATING TIPS we use at the workshop, kits can be purchased, as well as many other cake and cookie supplies, from my little cake shop. Cash or EFTPOS accepted (EFTPOS incurs a 5% surcharge)

Please note that this payment is non-refundable (you will receive a refund however if I need to cancel the event). If you are no longer able to attend the workshop, please let me know ASAP by calling or messaging me on Ph: 0409 325 745.
If you advise me of your absence MORE THAN 48 hours prior to the workshop start time, you will receive a FULL CREDIT that can be used on workshops at a later date. If you advise of your absence LESS THAN 48 hours prior, you will only receive a $50 CREDIT that can be used at a later date.
If you are no longer able to attend, but have organised for someone else to take your place at the workshop (ie. You have sold or given away your place) rather than receive a credit, please let me know when you initially contact me regarding your non attendance, remembering to send me their name and details.
