Rock Painting at Yardley Friends Meeting.

Plan to join a rock painting event here at Yardley Friends Meeting at 65 N Main St in Yardley, PA, on Saturday, May 31st, at 2 pm. This event will be open to all, so please spread the word. You and your family will enjoy decorating rocks and placing them on the properties surrounding Lake Afton or other walking paths in the borough. The tradition of painting rocks and leaving them for others inspired by the Kindness Rocks project and Friendship rocks. While not the focus of our event, photos of the rocks and hints of where to find them are commonly shared on social media. The painted images or messages featured on the rocks are meant to spread kindness and joy. Generally, the rocks placed along trails and garden paths are picked up and exchanged for different painted rocks. Ideally, the rocks will circulate from place to place, remaining in the public way, where they can be enjoyed by many. This event will last a couple of hours. Paint and brushes will be supplied. Bring your own rock is encouraged but not required. After a brief introduction, we will get everyone started and sharing inspirations. Ideas will be encouraged.
