Join wear blue: run to remember in making a difference at the Air Force Marathon on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio! We’re looking for passionate volunteers to help us pay tribute to our brave fallen service members during the wear blue Tribute Mile. Your involvement will make a meaningful impact and help us create an unforgettable experience for everyone. Your presence is crucial to making this event a success!
As a valued volunteer, you'll have an opportunity to raise American flags and cheer on our incredible athletes, helping to create an inspiring atmosphere that honors our heroes. Please mark your calendars for September 20! We'll join together from 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM (note that base access closes at 6:00 AM), ready to make a truly meaningful difference. All registered volunteers will receive detailed information regarding parking, check-in, and other exciting activities before race day. We'll be providing refreshments and complimentary T-shirts for everyone involved. Get ready for an unforgettable experience filled with honor and a sense of community spirit!

Date: September 20 | Approximately 5:30 AM to 10:30 AM (we aim to get you up and on with your volunteer duties and weekend early).
Location: Novick Road, WPAFB, Dayton, Ohio.| More details on race day parking, volunteer checking, and activities will be emailed to all registered volunteers prior to race day.
What: Hold an American flag in honor of a fallen service member and cheer for athletes as they pass through the Mile. Show your love and support for the military community.
Who: Absolutely everyone! People of all ages and abilities are welcome to lend their support.
