Juneteenth Social

On Juneteenth, feel the strength of your UMass Amherst community with the UMass Amherst Black Alumni Network. This celebration of history, culture, and freedom is a place to connect as alums, meet people with shared interests, and learn more about the Black Alumni Network.

DJ Boogy will set the vibes, while soul food from local Black-owned restaurant Addie Lee's and cupcakes from Carefree Cakery will be on the menu and include:

Fried chicken wings
Pork ribs
Cornbread
Yellow rice
Collard greens
Potato salad
Mac & cheese
Custom cupcakes


6:00 p.m. Food served; bar available
8:00 p.m. Celebration concludes

There is no cost to attend; a cash bar will be available. Please pre-register to ensure enough food.
