THE EAR GROUP will be performing individual hearing screenings and talking to clients about the importance of hearing loss and cognitive health. He will perform otoscopy and look inside ears to make sure ear canals are clean and free of earwax. Then, a hearing test (e.g., listening for tones) will take place. After that, Dr. Scanlon will go over the results, answer any questions regarding hearing/hearing loss and brain health, and go over options to take the next step to improve quality of life!
Meet the Audiologist: Dr. Troy Scanlon is a licensed, dispensing audiologist providing high-quality hearing care services in West Hills, CA. Dr. Scanlon earned his Bachelor of Science from Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania, as well as his Doctor of Audiology degree from Salus University, and has been in practice for four years. Dr. Scanlon has worked in a variety of clinical settings and has experience working with all patient populations. He specializes in diagnostics, hearing aids, and custom musician’s hearing protection. Dr. Scanlon provides thorough hearing assessments, personalized treatment plans, and extensive follow-up care to improve each patient’s quality of life.
REGISTRATION: This is a FREE screening service, BUT reservations are required. Limited spots are available.
Individual tests take approximately 30 minutes, so you will book yourself into one of the available time slots.
Time slots will be on the half hour (e.g., 11:00, 11:30, . . . 1:30). If a waitlist grows, we will look to add more 30-min screening sessions to that day.
