There are live turtles and tortoises to educate the public about the various breeds, the conservation issues affecting those in the wild, information on the care required for them as pets, and to promote the adoption program that is at the heart of our activities. This program involves accepting and reviewing applications for adoption, checking yards for new potential homes, the fostering of displaced animals, and placement of turtles and tortoises into permanent homes.

All proceeds will go directly toward veterinary treatment of turtles and tortoises awaiting adoption and also toward educational programs.
