Wollongong City Council, please Protect Our Water Catchment

Join us at 5.30pm prior to the Wollongong City Council Meeting to support the proposed motion to object to the Metropolitan Mine expansion "Modification 4 Longwall 317 and 318 Modification". The motion is being proposed by Councillor Deidre Stuart. Darryl Best, climate advocate and former coal miner, will apply to speak in favour of this motion at the public forum.

Come up to the Council meeting for the public forum to show support for Darryl, Deidre and the Motion. Then stay as long as you can. (We are not sure where the motion will be placed on the agenda or how long the meeting will be.)

Let's let Councillors of all shades know that we want our water catchment protected from underground coal mining.
