Join us at Witney and District Museum on Saturday 9th August 2025, between 10am and 3pm, for a full day of free, hands-on family fun!
Come and celebrate Witney’s rich glove-making heritage and get creative with a variety of crafts for all ages. You can:
🔑 Join local leathercrafters Stonesfield Leather Ltd to make your own personalised leather key ring to take home.
🧶 Craft a pom-pom sheep – A fluffy nod to the town’s woolly past!
🧵 Create a peg doll – Use your imagination and bring your character to life.
🎨 Enjoy more mini makes and creative surprises – Something for everyone, big or small!
No experience needed and all materials are provided.
*School Holiday Alert*: Every Wed until 20th Aug (10am-1pm), we run FREE children's craft mornings! There are different activities each week.
Donations are welcome to help keep our volunteer-run museum open!
*Please note that as a free activity this is limited to 1 keyring per person. Leather used is animal based, tanned in natural tree bark and sustainably sourced.
Children and young people under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This is a relaxed, drop-in event – come any time between 10am and 3pm.
Entry to the museum is free.
We’d love to see you there for a day of making, exploring, and celebrating local history!
