Can you help us draw a giant map of Witney?
Join us at Witney and District Museum from 10am–1pm on Wednesday 6th August 2025 for a free, family-friendly drop-in workshop where we’ll be creating a unique map of the town designed by you!
Come and get stuck in as we imagine, explore, and draw Witney past, present… and maybe even future! You can:
✏️ Add to our giant floor map – Draw your favourite places: schools, shops, secret shortcuts, rivers, ruins or railway lines!
🏛️ Include local landmarks – Sketch in the Buttercross, Corn Exchange, Henry Box School, or even the plague pits!
🗣️ Share your stories and memories – What’s special about Witney to you? Where do your family memories live on the map?
No experience needed and all materials are provided. Children and young people under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
This is a relaxed, drop-in event – pop in any time between 10am and 1pm.
Entry to the museum is free.
We can’t wait to map the magic with you!
