Summer Salute to Freedom
Windsor, Virginia - June 28, 2025
About the Mission:
The Patriot Guard will participate in the 2025 “Summer Salute to Freedom”. This is the Town of Windsor’s 4th of July celebration.
We will be riding our motorcycles to center stage. Upon arrival, we will ask spectators to join us as we set a flag line during the opening ceremony. Everyone is welcome to join but only motorcycles will be allowed to participate in the ride to center stage. Let me know in advance so we can make sure we will have enough flags for everyone.
After the opening ceremony, you and your family can stay for all the activities which include food trucks, music, a kid’s zone, and a fireworks show that will start around 9:00 PM.

Brief: 2:30 PM; must be present to participate in the escort.
KSU: 2:45 PM
Opening Ceremony: 3:30 PM
*YOU WILL ONLY BE ABLE TO ENTER GARRIS EVENT PARK AS PART OF THE ESCORT DUE TO CITY STREET CLOSURES AND POLICE PRESENCE*
SHIRT FLAVOR OF THE DAY IS OUR HiVIS YELLOW Shirt if you have one. You do not need a Yellow shirt to participate.
Our participation is for MOTORCYCLES only which includes, trikes, sidecar rigs, can-am and spyders.
No cars, trucks, or vans can participate on the ride in. Sorry.
Please reach out to the listed Ride Captain with any questions or if you plan on arriving in a cage to participate in the flag line only.
Remember this is a FAMILY event.
PLEASE NOTE: No political banners or messages and No confederate insignia of any kind.
Flags & Water:
Flags will be provided.
If you have large bike flags, please bring them.
Water will not be provided, please bring your own.
