🎪 Farm Animal Rescue at Vegan Ekka 2025! 🌱
We’re excited to be part of Vegan Ekka at The Green Edge on Wednesday, August 13th, 2025, from 8am to 5pm!
This compassionate event is the perfect alternative for those who choose not to support the animal cruelty of the traditional Ekka. Join us for a day full of community, delicious food, and ethical celebration.
🐷 Farm Animal Rescue will be there with:
✨ A delicious vegan bake sale
🌭 A sizzling vegan sausage sizzle, proudly sponsored by Tofurky and The Green Edge
🍰 Can you bake for the animals?
We’re calling on our wonderful supporters to donate vegan baked goods for our bake sale! All treats must be 100% vegan, and donations can be dropped off at The Green Edge between 8am and 10am on the day.
🌭 Meanwhile, The Green Edge will be going all out with:
Iconic vegan dagwood dogs
Sweet and creamy vegan strawberry ice creams
Nostalgic vegan show bags
And even more show-style favourites — all completely plant-based!
Come along, indulge in incredible food, support rescued animals, and help us make this year's Vegan Ekka the biggest and kindest one yet.
💚 All proceeds from the Farm Animal Rescue stall support our lifesaving sanctuary work and advocacy for farmed animals.
