Research Rangers - Session 3

We’re excited to welcome you and your family to Shady PlayDates this summer. On select Fridays we will host a nature-based science program in partnership with the Texas State Dept. of Biology & Hays County Master Naturalists beginning at 11am.

Research Rangers is about inspiring people to spend more time exploring the natural world around them. We want to encourage and support people of all ages, abilities and backgrounds to enjoy and study wildlife in their local area and to observe and record information about the local environment. This event is free of charge for customers of the Shady Llama. We will gladly welcome any donation you would like to make to help cover material costs and compensate our PlayDate leaders. Our bar will be open for beverage sales including beer, wine and a variety of non-alcoholic options. We will also have snacks available for purchase, but you are welcome to bring in your own food as we do not have an onsite food truck on weekdays.

By reserving a ticket to this event, you are guaranteed a spot of you arrive by 11:15am. If you are not able to attend, please request a ticket "refund" and we will take you off the list. There will be also be space available to walk-ins for each event.
