Discover the ancient and modern magic of herbal teas in this hands-on class designed for anyone seeking natural ways to support their health.
You’ll learn how to blend herbs with intention, understand the healing properties of common plants, and create customized teas for everyday wellness including stress support, digestion, immune boosting, and more.
This class includes a guided tasting session, a blending demonstration, and a take-home guide to crafting your own herbal infusions at home.
Perfect for beginners and plant-lovers alike. No previous herbalism experience needed.
About Jennifer: Jennifer Monroy is a community herbalist and founder of Erekani Herbs — a small-batch apothecary rooted in the belief that healing begins with the earth.
Raised with a deep respect for traditional plant medicine, Jennifer weaves Indigenous wisdom and Western herbalism into her teachings.
After walking her own healing path, she found her purpose in helping others rediscover the simple, powerful remedies growing all around us.
Through her work, she hopes to inspire a return to slower, more intentional ways of caring for ourselves and our communities.

Instead of a scholarship program, Seagate School is now offering Sliding Scale tuition rates for this class series. We have been exploring different ways to make our offerings more accessible, while still working for a sustainable income stream for my family. If you are interested in learning more about Sliding Scale as a tool for Economic Justice, please check out this article by Alexis J. Cunningfolk. The descriptions of the different tiers are pulled from her article.
Full Price Tuition represents the true value for the workshop series. "If you have access to financial security, own property or have personal savings, you would not traditionally qualify for sliding scale services."
Tier 2 is referred to as The Middle Costs and "reflects the practitioner's acknowledgement that paying the full cost would prevent some folks from being able to attend, but who do not honestly find themselves reflected in either descriptions for the highest cost or the lowest."
Tier 2 - is referred to as the Bottom Cost and "represents an honest acknowledgment by the teacher and practitioner that there are folks whose economic circumstances would prevent them from being a part of classes if there was not a deliberate opportunity made for them to access services at a cost that is reflective of their economic realities."
When registering for the series and selecting which tier is best for you, please keep in mind that if you select a lower tier and you can afford a higher tier, you are limiting access to the workshop series for people who truly need financial flexibility. Two of the most important goals for me as an herbalist are connecting people to the plants and building community. By fairly contributing what you can in tuition, you are helping me reach these goals for our community.
