This Mother’s Day, let creativity bloom! Join us for a joyful, hands-on workshop led by the talented teaching artist JaQuanne LeRoy, where young artists will craft beautiful, heartfelt gifts to honor the special mothers, grandmothers, and caregivers in their lives.

In this lively and colorful session, kids will explore vibrant mixed-media techniques to create one-of-a-kind Mother’s Day cards. Participants will dive into the fun of marbling with shaving cream and food coloring, swirling together rich, dreamy colors to form stunning, textured backgrounds. From there, they’ll get crafty with cut paper shapes, playful collage elements, and layers of bright, cheerful designs to build a unique flower centerpiece that bursts with personality and love.

Through guided instruction and lots of creative freedom, children will not only learn new art techniques but also reflect on the love, gratitude, and appreciation they feel for the important caregivers in their lives. Every participant will leave with a vibrant, handmade card—a personal, colorful keepsake sure to be treasured.
