ABOUT THE TRAINING: This highly interactive workshop teaches for profits, nonprofits, and individuals how to find funding and prepare to compete with a winning grant proposal. ABOUT THE TRAINER: Chandra G. Pitts is the founding President & CEO of a global, multi-million dollar, non-profit organization. She has 15 years of grant writing experience as founder of a thriving non-profit; and, most recently, secured a nationally competitive Obama Foundation grant two years in a row to expand her work to 240 schools across West Africa. As the sole grant writer, Chandra's winning portfolio includes over $20 million in grant awards, including $4.3 million in federal funding for her successful for-profit business; Chandra's expertise is not only in writing a winning proposal but developing high impact storytelling strategies to support meaningful outcomes.
A highly sught after speaker and development consultant, Chandra was named 2021 Businesswoman of the Year, is the recipient of the NAACP Youth Impact Award and is the youngest woman ever inducted into the Hall of Fame for Delaware Women.
