<3 The organizers of No Kings Day in Wichita Falls are committed to a peaceful demonstration. Our goal is to utilize our first amendment right to peaceably assemble and let our voices be heard. Several organizers have taken training focused on peacefully de-escalating potentially harmful situations, and are ready to use those skills if needed.
<3 Our intent has never been to cause fear; rather, our goal is to raise awareness and facilitate hope. We consider this not only a protest, but also a celebration of the country our founding fathers intended to create. A country without a king.

* 10am- 10:45: Arrive, enjoy music and kids area, and peaceful sidewalk protest! *
* 11-1230: Speakers will share stories of how they've been impacted by this administration, resources, guidance, and words of hope for moving forward. *
* 12:30-1: Enjoy the music, grab a bite of food from a food trucks, connect with other community members. *

NO KINGS is a national day of action and mass mobilization in response to increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption from Trump and his allies. We’ve watched as they’ve cracked down on free speech, detained people for their political views, threatened to deport American citizens, and defied the courts. They’ve done this all while continuing to serve and enrich their billionaire allies.
🚨On Saturday, June 14, we’re taking to the streets nationwide. We’re not gathering to feed his ego. We’re building a movement that leaves him behind.🚨
The flag doesn’t belong to any one person. It belongs to us, the collective. We’re not watching history happen. We’re making it.
