Art in the Garden Workshop: CA Wildflowers – Sketch, Explore, and Learn

Art in the Garden at the Lost Coast Education Center in Whitethorn is back on Sunday, June 22nd from 10AM-12PM! This year’s free workshop, “California Wildflowers – Sketch, Explore, and Learn” is a great opportunity to learn about art techniques and native wildflowers from professional artists Venessa Kay & Darcie Maassen in a beautiful outdoor setting.

After gathering in the 100 year old barn, students will sketch and paint while learning about California’s wildflower legacy, the ecological role of wildflowers in their native environment, and our human relationship with them. Each participant will receive a ‘Home Spun Urban Sketchbook’, a homemade field journal and keepsake for continued drawing at home, made by Venessa & Darcie.
