Applications are now open for local photographers, illustrators, painters, sculptors, musicians, and other creatives of
all ages and experiences to show (or sell) their creations during the fifth annual Art in the Park in picturesque
Veterans Memorial Park from 12-4pm on Saturday, June 7.
Simply fill out the application at www.celebratewestwood.org by April 30.
Arts in the Park is a free, open air event hosted by Celebrate Westwood ArtsHub designed to celebrate creativity in
the heart of Westwood. In addition to exploring fine arts and unique crafts, textiles, and mixed media displays,
attendees will have the opportunity to create their own art by weaving on our popular oversized looms, drawing in
plein air under the "Kissing Tree," chalking the walkways, or by coloring a tile from the new community mural being
launched in coordination with the Westwood Public Library!
This year’s event is co-hosted by the Westwood Board of Health and will feature local businesses and services that
aid in creating a healthy, thriving community through preventative practices and education around healthy aging,
fitness programs, mental health services and more!
