Have you seen a doctor lately? Do you know your blood pressure? Visit the Wayne Mobile Health Unit at the library -- free of charge!
The Wayne Health Mobile Unit is staffed by registered nurses, medical/research assistants, community health workers, patient & family health advocates, and overseen by physicians from the Center of Population Health and Accountability at Wayne Health. The team offers a variety of free health screenings and services to our patients.
Services offered:
⚬ Blood pressure screening
⚬ Preventative health screening for kidney function, diabetes, and cholesterol
⚬ Connections to community resources
Additionally, representatives from Just Air and the Wayne County Department of Health, Human & Veterans Services will be onsite to distribute free mobile air quality units. Wayne County residents with asthma between 16-26 years of age will be eligible to receive a free air quality monitor and digital inhaler case.
Stop by the mobile health walk-up clinic in the library parking lot and take charge of your health!
