Introducing Little Chefs: A Program to Strengthen Parent-Child Bonds Through Cooking

We believe in the power of cooking to create meaningful connections and support trauma healing. Little Chefs is a 4-week program designed to promote bonding between parents and children, especially those in foster or adoptive care, but open to any family looking to deepen their relationship through shared experiences in the kitchen!

What We Offer:

• Healthy Attachment & Trust: Fostering a sense of safety, security, and collaboration between parent and child.
• Trauma-Informed Care: We focus on the 5 principles of trauma-informed care—safety, choice, trust, collaboration, & empowerment.
• Cultural & Community Connection: Building a sense of belonging through shared meals.
• Fun & Learning: Strengthening communication and cooking skills in a fun, hands-on environment.

Special Perks:

• Each parent-child duo will receive matching aprons & cookbooks!
• Upon completion, participants will get a gift card to local grocery stores to continue the cooking fun at home.
