All 4-H members are encouraged to participate in a County Demo Day!
It's a great chance to practice your public speaking skills, get feedback on your presentation, and gain confidence teaching others about your 4-H project before the county fairs. Earning a blue ribbon at a County Demo Day qualifies a member to take their demonstration to the 4-H State Fair in Puyallup!

Horse Project Members Only: Horse Project Members are required to participate (earning any ribbon color) in a County Demo Day as one part of qualifying for taking their horse to the state fair.
All presenters will receive feedback and coaching on how to improve their demonstrations.
Cloverbud demonstrations will earn participation ribbons.
Junior, Intermediate, & Senior demonstrations will be awarded as follows:
Blue Ribbon - Scores 90-100
Red Ribbon - Scores 80-89
White Ribbon - Scores 79 and below

The expected duration of a demonstration is dependent on a member's age as follows:
Cloverbuds: no time limit
Juniors: 3-8 minutes
Intermediates: 5-15 minutes
Seniors: 8-20 minutes
All Demo Days will take place in the 4-H Conference Room at the WSU Chelan County Extension Office at 412 Washington Street in Wenatchee. In-person demonstrations are preferred, but Zoom is allowed for those residing outside of the Wenatchee Valley. Zoom demonstrations may be allowed for others on a case-by-case basis.
Registrations should be received no later than 1 week prior to the scheduled date. Late registrations may be possible but are not guaranteed.
