Welcome to the Gingerbread City Cake Exchange!
Join us Friday, May 16 at 6PM for a one-of-a-kind cake celebration hosted by Bittersweet Bakery + Cake Studio and Vita Coffee House!

Cake people, this one’s for you.

You're the type who brings a cake to a party because it's Tuesday. Who dreams in buttercream. Who has opinions—strong ones—about crumb coats.
This is your night.

We're hosting a cake swap for the folks who bake the magic. Bring your best 12-serving stunner, and in return, you’ll go home with a custom mix of 12 slices from other cake lovers who get it. Who live it. Who are it.

This isn’t about showing up for sweets.
It’s about showing up for each other.
Tickets are $25. And the cherry on top? A portion of the proceeds will benefit Walk in Love, a local charity focused on making meaningful change in our community by supporting housing, hunger relief, and more.

Here's how it works:

- Bake and bring a fully decorated cake with at least 12 servings (more is fine)
- Check in is from 6:00-6:30 PM sharp, no late entries! Arrive, get your goodie bag, pick your number, and we’ll direct you to the cake zone where you can mingle with fellow cake lovers.

- In your goodie bag you’ll find:

- a drink ticket for a crafted Vita Coffee House latte

- a snack ticket provided by Fern in the Wild

- one Cake Walk pass for a chance to win a Bittersweet cake!

- one entry ticket to our Cake Eating contest (if you’re brave enough!)

After we snap an insta-worth group photo of all of your creations, you’ll get a large pink bakery box and be invited to pick 12 total slices from the other cakes to fill up your box.

There will be tons of cakes to choose from — every flavor, color, and idea under the sun — all crafted with love by our incredible, cake-loving community. 🍰💕

Prizes for the Best Cakes:

To make things even sweeter, we’ll be giving out prizes in three fun categories!

-Most Artistic – For the cake that’s more like a work of art, with stunning design and intricate details.
-Most Dramatic / Showstopper – For the cake that makes jaws drop the moment it enters the room—bold, big, and impossible to ignore.
-Pinterest-Worthy / Most Likely to Start a Cake Trend – For the cake that looks straight out of a viral Pinterest board and is bound to inspire the next big cake craze.

And don’t forget about our 16-tier cake crafted by Bittersweet Bakery — a towering masterpiece that will take your cake dreams to new heights. You’ll get a slice, and a photo op, of this cake, too! 🎂✨Once you’ve picked your slices, feel free to hang around and soak up the sweetest atmosphere this Gingerbread City has ever seen. Come hungry. Come happy. Come ready to build the weirdest, most wonderful cake box of your dreams!
