Beginner Wheel Throwing
Step up to the wheel and let your creative journey begin—whether you're a complete beginner or returning to the craft after some time away. This 6-session class is your gateway into the world of clay, where each spin of the wheel transforms raw earth into art.
What You'll Learn:
• Studio Safety: Master the essential safety practices that keep our creative space as inspiring as it is secure.
• Wheel Techniques: Discover the proper hand positions to create cylinders, bowls, and cups, along with the art of adding attachments to personalize your pieces.
• Glazing Basics: General glazing will be discussed and practiced to bring color and life to your pottery.
Class Details:
• Cost: $200
• When: Thursday evenings, from 7:00 to 9:30 PM.
• Dates: Wednesday evenings 7:00 pm to 9:30 pm July 30, August 6, and 13, and Saturday mornings 10:00 to 12:30 pm. August 2, 9, and 16
• Location: 2202 Grand Ave., Wausau, WI
• Note: No makeup classes will be offered.

Refund Policy:
We believe in your creative freedom. If you change your mind, refunds are available if requested one week before the class starts.
What to Bring and Wear:
Wear something you don’t mind if it gets dirty. The clay washes out of your clothes. Bring an old towel to wipe your hands and a non-alcoholic beverage.
