Celebrating Our Anniversary Month: Best of the Best Showcase at Dandelion Art Gallery & Studios, NFP, Inc.
Waukegan, IL — It’s time to celebrate! Throughout July, Dandelion Art Gallery & Studios, NFP, Inc. proudly marks four years of creativity, connection, and community impact with a special anniversary event — the Best of the Best Showcase, featuring the outstanding work of the Dandelion Artist Alliance.
On Friday, July 19th, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, the community is invited to join the celebration at Dandelion Art Gallery & Studios for an evening of art, connection, and collaboration. The exhibit will feature a powerful mix of new artwork, longtime favorites, and special collaborations between Dandelion Artist Alliance master artists and student artists — together showcasing the artistic expression, growth, and unity that define the Dandelion mission.
At its core, Dandelion Art Gallery & Studios, NFP, Inc. is dedicated to nurturing creativity, honoring the influences of individual expression, and fostering the wellness of those expressions to support growth and unity — while building community through accessible arts education and collaborative opportunities for artists of all levels. This mission guides every exhibition, workshop, and event, making Dandelion a vibrant hub where artistic expression thrives, and its mission spreads through primary services in the areas of the arts, cultural experiences, and creative wellness.
Celebrating our anniversary month isn’t just about looking back — it’s about recognizing the artists, coalition partners, supporters, and our community who have helped Dandelion grow and make a creative difference not only within our space but throughout the community.
The Anniversary Event Includes:
- Artist Meet & Greet — Connect with Dandelion Artist Alliance members and hear their stories
- Community Canvas — Make your mark on a shared art piece
- Ink Tile Station — Create your own mini artwork for $10 to help support Dandelion’s mission
The Best of the Best Showcase will be on display from July 19th through August 9th, 2025, offering plenty of time to experience this inspiring collection of creativity and collaboration.
Over the past four years, Dandelion Art Gallery & Studios, NFP, Inc. has evolved into a creative hub in Waukegan — a space where artists grow, the community comes together through the arts, and people heal. The anniversary showcase is a celebration of that journey and an invitation to all who have been part of it — or who are ready to be.
We extend our deepest thanks to our affiliates, the Dandelion Art Coalition Unite, the Dandelion Artist Alliance, and our incredible community for helping us make another year of creativity, connection, and growth possible — with hopes for many more to come.
