Moving with Grief - Qigong

Moving with Grief supports community members who are experiencing loss and grief with free monthly yoga, gentle movement, meditation, sound healing and guided relaxation sessions.

All offerings are open to anyone in the community who is experiencing loss and grief. Grief comes in many different shapes and doesn’t always involve the death of a person close to us. We can grieve the loss of friendships, changes around our work or purpose. Everyone is welcome to participate in this program, regardless of the nature of their grief.

In this session Pen from from Qi by the Sea will offer a seasonal qiflow practice that honours its connection to grief, release, and clarity. With gentle movements and pockets of rest to unite body, heart, mind and spirit. This is a deeply nourishing practice to soothe our nervous system in times of uncertainty and challenge.

As usual, we will enjoy an afternoon tea following the session, an opportunity to connect and be with each other in a relaxed and beautiful environment.
