MVAS Program - Astronauts, Rockets and Robots... and the International Space Station

Join us for our monthly program and astronomy club meeting on August 13.

This month's program is:
Astronauts, Rockets and Robots... and the International Space Station
by Carol Higgins, NASA Solar System Ambassador and MVAS member.

The program will take us on a trip to the International Space Station. During our fun adventure to the world’s premier research laboratory, we will learn what it is like to live and work in space, how astronauts travel to the station, and take a look at some examples of robotic testing and the robots that assist astronauts and ground teams.

Program begins at 7:30 PM

As always, our programs, meetings and stargazing events are FREE and open to the public. So bring along your family and friends! Refreshments are provided by MVAS members. We hope to see you there!
